Calwest Resources Australia is a mineral exploration and mining service provider.
Calwest was formed in 2007 when it was seen that there were no service providers, particularly to the mineral exploration industry, who were able to offer a wide range of services covering all aspects from pegging tenements, setting up camps and remote area communications, construction of roads, access ways, drains, sumps, drill pads, drill program management, field programs and so on.
Calwest has the ability to call on expert associates in every field connected to mining exploration programs as needed for any length of program in any area.
We have the equipment and expertise to conduct ground memory magnetic surveys, radiometric surveys and in field x-ray florescent analysis of minerals and associated hosts.
We conduct sampling programs in support of exploration and drilling operations, and provide continuity and security of samples from the field to the door of the analysis company. We provide soil sampling, rock chip sampling, vegetation sampling in support of exploration programs.
We have been successful in the past in the location of new mineral provinces for copper, gold, silver, lead, zinc, rare earth minerals, uranium and iron ore and are experts in remote site operations.
We also engage in contract management of exploration sites and activities including ensuring compliance with all legislative obligations regarding operations and safety.

It was us who introduced Novo Resources to the conglomerate story in the West Pilbara, Karratha district , after we followed up stories of nuggets being found in "basalt." We soon identified it for what it was, sent photos to Quinton Hennigh, who caught the next plane to Karratha, and the rest is history.
